About the Role
We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Operations to join our leadership team based in Florida.
This is a critical hire as we scale our global payments infrastructure business. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence across the organization, owning the systems, processes, and people that keep RidgeX running as we grow. You will work directly with the founding team and have visibility across product, compliance, partnerships, and customer operations.
Responsibilities
• Own and continuously improve end-to-end operational processes across onboarding, settlement, compliance workflows, and customer support
• Build and manage a high-performing operations team, defining roles, performance metrics, and career paths
• Partner with Product and Engineering to translate operational insights into platform improvements
• Oversee day-to-day relationships with banking partners, payment network operators, and third-party vendors
• Drive KYC/AML operational workflows in close coordination with the Compliance team
• Establish reporting cadences and KPI dashboards that provide real-time visibility into operational performance
• Lead cross-functional initiatives around market launches, product rollouts, and process automation
• Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks impacting settlement speed, reconciliation accuracy, and onboarding timelines
• Develop and maintain business continuity plans and incident response protocols
Requirements
• 7 years of operations experience
• 3 years in a senior leadership role within fintech, payments, or financial services
• Deep understanding of cross-border payments, settlement mechanics, virtual accounts, and FX operations
• Experience working within regulated financial services environments, including KYC, AML, and compliance processes
• Proven track record of building and scaling operational teams
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth startup or scale-up environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with API-first financial products
• Familiarity with stablecoin or digital asset payment flows
• Experience operating in emerging markets
• Experience within a B2B SaaS or fintech infrastructure company
