Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in a locally owned and operated nursing home group serving Western Kentucky.
Our focus is on providing respectful, attentive care that supports the dignity, comfort, and well-being of each resident. The Registered Nurse plays a key role in coordinating resident care, administering treatments, and ensuring a calm, supportive clinical environment during the shift.
Essential Duties
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility policy
- Assess resident conditions and respond to changes in health status
- Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing and long-term care setting
- Accurately document care and treatments in the medical record system (EMAR/EHR)
- Communicate effectively with CNAs, providers, and interdisciplinary team members
- Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
- Support and supervise nursing assistants as needed during the shift
- Contribute to a respectful, resident-centered environment
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Pracetical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Kentucky
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or nursing home environment preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shifts (including nights if applicable)
