Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director of Nursing to oversee our nursing department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of nursing services within our facility.
Duties:
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee the recruitment, training, and supervision of nursing staff
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Manage care plans and monitor resident progress
- Uphold resident rights and advocate for their needs
- Coordinate hospice care services when necessary
- Maintain a safe and efficient working environment for the nursing team
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing administration, preferably in a nursing home setting
- Knowledge of home care, medical terminology, and physiology
- Ability to effectively manage a team of nursing professionals
- Familiarity with Medicare regulations and reimbursement processes
