What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) (LVN) position at Benbrook Nursing and Rehabilitation?
The successful candidate will have the following experience and responsibilities:
- Prior experience as clinical leader in long term care as an ADON
- Leadership strength and potential is the strongest attribute of potential candidate.
- Responsible for all clinical care in the facility.
- Responsible to manage and supervise all clinical members.
- Well rounded knowledge of managing skilled rehabilitation clients as well as long term care.
- Facilitate clinical meetings with PCC.
- Knowledge of Care Planning Acute issues.
- Knowledge of Quality Measures and Five Star Survey Process
- Must be versed in Point Click Care Software / Electronic Medical Records
- Directs and oversees all disciplines for successful delivery of care.
- Ensures survey compliance with assistance of DON and CCO.
- CDC Infection Preventist Certification required in first 60 days
- Must have leadership personality.
- Must be take charge clinician.
- Extensive Corporate Level Support and Mentoring.
- 24/7 Corporate Clinical Support
Qualifications:
LVN license in good standing
AHA Basic Life Support CPR
Clear background check
Drug free
Valid Drivers license
CDC Infection Preventist Certification Training in first 60 days required
