The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members following the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.
- Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
- Document and reassess any significant changes in patient condition in compliance with facility policy.
- Verify the accuracy of patient records.
- Intervention is based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures and the care plan.
- Provide education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations, such as communication, interpersonal, and social skills, as well as basic principles of physical health.
- Document the nursing interventions on the treatment plan and the patient's response to the intervention.
- Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies.
- Act as the patient's advocate and ensure patient rights are upheld.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for
- Education: A graduate from an accredited professional nursing program is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred.
- Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.
- CPR/First Aid and CPI Trained and certified.

Compensation:
This is a part-time, non-exempt role, and the expected compensation range is $32.00-$40.00/hour, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be given to experience and skill level. Join us as our Registered Nurse (RN)!
