Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Strive to achieve company objectives while demonstrating company’s Mission Statement, Quality Policy, and Ridgeview Principles in the performance of daily activities. Install and repair organizational machinery, equipment, structure, and systems according to maintenance departental instructions following Governmental and/or Company safety and housekeeping policies/procedures.
- Follow all safety policies including, lock out / tag out and consistently use required personal protective equipment.
- Actively support safety initiatives, hazard identifications, and safe material handling practices.
- Ensure quality requirements are achieved by reading and following Quality communications, and following established process.
- Maintain work area cleanliness, following 5S priniciples, and organziation of materials.
- Perform electrical/mechanical trouble shooting on industrial production equipment, such as robotic welders, stamping presses, conveyors, etc.
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as assigned.
- Complete electrical and plumbing connections for equipment installation.
- Perform robot and fixture adjustments on automated assembly equipment to maintain quality requirements of parts.
- Perform manual welding on machine guarding and tooling as needed.
· Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, adjustments, and repairs to minimize downtime.
· Maintain current hi-lo/crane certification with Ridgeview Industries.
· Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications

· 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferred.
· High School diploma, equivalent education, (GED) with a journeyman certificate.
· Ability to read, write, and interpret documents in English. Ability to speak effectively, present information, and respond to questions from other employees of organization.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure.
· Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical.
· Working knowledge of mill and lathe preferred.
· Proficient in basic computer skills with ability to maintain work order logs.
· Eye for detail and accuracy.
· Data driven approach to problem solving and decision making.

· Ability to lift, carry and move equipment, tools and materials weighing up to 70 pounds.
· Extensive walking, standing, and climbing ladders throughout entire shift.

- Speak, hear and listen in environment with significant background noise.
Work Environment This position is performed in an active metal manufacturing environment. Employees work around operating machinery, moving mechanical equipment, powered industrial vehicles, overhead cranes, and heavy steel machines. The role involves exposure to elevated noise level, airborne industrial particles, vibration, temperature variations, and typical production floor activities including handling metal product that may have sharp edges.
