Ridgeview Industries is a leading metal stamping and assembly supplier primarily serving the automotive market. Our privately held and employee owned company, founded upon Christian principles, currently employs approximately 600 team members across 4 plant locations.

We are seeking an experienced Shipping and Receiving Material Handler for our Grand Rapids, Mi. location with a patient, friendly, and positive attitude. The ideal candidate for this role will have the following credentials.

Primary responsibilities:

· Ability to multi-task and problem solve as needed/required.

· Accurately stage and label product for shipment.

· Receive product from MRO suppliers.

· Review and put away packaging.

· Label product as required.

· Load and ship product to customers.

· Receive product from outside suppliers and purchase part suppliers.

· Stage and prepare product for shipment.

· Preparation of bill of ladings, barcode scanning, and sending Advance Ship Notifications.

· Familiarity with scanning and cycle counts.

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma or GED required.

· Previous automotive experience is preferred or equivalent experience with Hilo’s.

· Willingness to take direction and work independently when needed.

· Must be a team player.

· Strong computer skills – prior experience with QAD & MRP systems is a plus.

· A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.

· Good verbal and written skills.
