RIDGEVIEW, a not-for-profit community mental health center based in Oak Ridge, TN, has an immediate opening for a full-time Mobile Crisis Line Specialist. This is perfect for the Bachelor's level candidate with a degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field who wants to work in a fast paced behavioral health / mental health environment, especially one who wants to expand their experience to Mobile Crisis intervention. This position will regularly be scheduled 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

REQUIREMENTS
The Mobile Crisis Line Specialist role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a mental health related field required such as psychology, social work, or counseling. Experience in a crisis hotline or social services environment preferred. Good assessment, communication, and written skills are essential. Must have a valid Tennessee driver’s license and safe driving record.
JOB DUTIES
The Mobile Crisis Line Specialist will answer the Mobile Crisis phone line and manage the needs of the caller. This will include working with individuals in mental health crisis to ensure their safety and to ensure the individual receives the most appropriate resources available, following up with individuals to ensure their needs were met, managing requests for face to face assessments with Master's level clinicians, managing all general calls to the crisis line, and managing basic office functions. The work is diverse and challenging.
