Job Overview:
Ridgeline Management is seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a HouseKeeper and Guest Service Agent. This job would require the employee to work primarily at our Sylva location and sometimes at our Cashiers location. As a Housekeeper and Guest Service Agent, you will be ensuring the cleanliness of our rooms and operating our laundry space as well as the the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience during their stay. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Work within housekeeping team to clean and maintain rooms and public spaces, including but not limited to making beds, dusting, moping and cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms.
- Keeping supply closets, carts and shelves stocked.
- Report any damage or maintenance issues during your shift.
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, both in person and over the phone
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring accurate information is obtained
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and reservations
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally
- Process payments and maintain accurate records
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel operations is preferred, but not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
- Bilingual language skills are a plus but must speak English
