What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Groundskeeper position at Ridgecrest Village?

Hiring a seasonal Groundskeeper to keep our facility beautiful.
June - August
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience.

The Groundskeeper Level I is responsible for mowing and trimming all grass and keeping paper and trash picked up.

General Responsibilities:

Mow grass in designated area as necessary.
Keep grass trimmed around buildings, fences, and trees.
Keep sidewalks clean of grass and dirt.
Assist Level II at trimming, planting, mulching, weeding and other outside duties as assigned.
On days of bad weather will work at the direction of the Director as to what needs to be done.
Will follow all safety policies.
Demonstrates competency in skills mandated by required education and training.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Knowledge of lawn and garden care gained through prior experience or academic courses.
Knowledge of basic light maintenance is preferred.
Valid driver’s license.

Salary : $18 - $20
