Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is looking for a Transportation Driver/Scheduler

Summary:
Schedule and dispatch transportation for skilled nursing facilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepares daily schedules for all non-emergency transportation.
- Monitors emails for Transport Request Forms and enter the requests into the scheduling software.
- Answering phones in a kind professional manner and dispatch calls promptly.
- Finalize all transports post completion in our system to prepare them for billing.
- Communicate with drivers periodically throughout the day to ensure they know their schedules and communicate changes when necessary.
- Arrange for necessary repairs to restore service and schedules when breakdowns occur in route.
- Relay work orders, messages, and information to or from drivers and supervisor.
- Prepare initial accident/incident reports as incidents occur and ensure the driver completes and provides a copy of the Accident-Incident Report Form within 24 hours.
- Other special projects and duties, as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft office.
- Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
- Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
- Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure with the ability to multi-task.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate and simultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality and productivity.

- Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.
- Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures.

- Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively with employees and vendors.
- Valid State Driver’s License with no more than three (3) entries; counting accidents, moving violations, and failures to appear. (Note: Convictions for DUI/DWI, refusal to test, reckless driving, hit and run or other felony convictions are unacceptable and disqualify the driver from driving on behalf of the facility regardless of the number of MVR entries.
Physical and Sensory Requirements:
- Considerable physical activity:
- Standing and/or walking for more than two (2) hours per day.
- Bending and/or stooping for more than one (1) hour at a time.
- Sitting for more than four (4) hours at a time.
