What are the responsibilities and job description for the Club Manager position at Ridge Top Club?
Ridge Top Club, a seasonal Swim & Racquet Club in North Haven, is hiring two (2) Club Managers.
The Club’s season runs from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day weekend. Managers are expected to be on site five to six (5 – 6) days per week during the season.
$25/hour. Approximately 300 hours per year.
Duties include:
- Serving as the public face of the club, responding to members’ questions and concerns, and communicating with prospective members
- Coordinating with pool director, swim coach, tennis director, and maintenance manager
- Working closely with the club's president and board of governors
- Enforcing club rules and upholding club policies
- Planning club events
- Updating club website and social media
- Maintaining the membership list, processing membership applications and other light office duties.
The manager’s off-season duties include collecting and sorting the mail, checking the club email, and planning for the coming season.
Candidates should be organized, efficient, and have strong interpersonal skills. Managerial experience is required. Basic understanding of budgets and accounting a plus.
