Position Overview
Rider University, an NCAA Division I institution and member of the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC), invites applications for a Staff Athletic Trainer. This position will work under the supervision of the Head Athletic Trainer. The Staff Athletic Trainer will support all aspects of sports medicine services including but not limited to injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, management and rehabilitation of athletic injuries/illness; proper documentation of injury evaluation and treatment; on-site coverage and travel; supervision of part time seasonal athletic trainers and student workers; and administrative duties as assigned.
This is a full-time, 10-month position.

Required Knowledge, Skills And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field required, Master’s degree preferred
- NATABOC certification
- New Jersey licensure or eligible
- CPR/First Aid certified, instructor preferred
- At least two years’ experience with intercollegiate sport
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required
