Outreach Specialist

Basic Job Description:

The Outreach Specialist will build and manage relationships within the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build relationships with community influencers.
• Provide in-depth information about transportation services that align with customer requirements.
• Engage law enforcement and behavioral health leadership to foster relationships.
• Enhance communication and outreach strategies to resonate with target audiences.
• Deliver presentations at local events, complete applications forms for speakers or booths.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve growth in market utilization of transportation services.
• Attend community and marketing events, representing Ride Care, Inc.
• Conduct market research to identify customer trends, competitor offerings, and demographic data.
• Serve as backup communications point-of-contact for internal stakeholders.
• Interact with facility staff, clients, and family members in a professional manner, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Work independently to create and implement awareness-building initiatives as assigned.
• Other duties assigned by the leadership team.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Education and experience in lieu of degree may be accepted.
• Minimum of three years’ outreach, marketing or sale experience.
• Proficiency in Canva and Adobe Create Suite.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to travel within state as needed (50-60%). Travel in-state weekly.
• Operates with flexibility and adaptability to any environment.
• Ability to multi-task, interpreting on-going problems and suggesting possible solutions.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organization skills.

Expected hours: 40.0 – 50.0 per week
