Position: Veterinary Technician
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians in medical, dental, and surgical procedures.
- Handle and restrain animals in a safe and compassionate manner.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
- Take and develop X-rays.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate pet owners on home care, medication administration, and general pet health.
- Monitor and care for pets during post-operative recovery.
- Ensure the cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Veterinary Technician Experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about animal welfare and committed to delivering high-quality care.
- Familiarity with veterinary software is an advantage.
