Part-Time Accounting Assistant / Bookkeeper (with Quickbooks Online experience)
Our industry is hospitality – we run a 35 acre campground with RV sites, cabins, a Cafe, and a retail store. We are looking for a part-time accounting assistant / book-keeping candidate to help us maintain our book-keeping tasks in QuickBooks. This would include accounts payable, accounts receivable, generating reports and bank reconciliations. Job includes working closely with our manager/owner to create and analyze financial reports and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Ideal candidate should have at least 2 solid years of QuickBooks experience with the online versions. Candidate must be detailed oriented and able to follow company processes and procedures. Candidate must be energetic, highly organized, professional and able to work in a team. An accounting degree or certified bookkeeping certification is preferred but not required. Ultimately, the Bookkeeper’s responsibilities are to accurately record all day-to-day financial transactions and quarterly reporting.
Responsibilities
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
Verify that transactions are recorded with the correct vendor and expense account
Accurately reconcile bank accounts
Handle daily task and request from manager
Enter data, maintain records and review reports and financial statements
Process accounts receivable/payable in a timely manner
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
