Our Optometric Eye Clinic offers the diagnosis, management and treatment of a wide range of eye diseases, including a wide range of eyewear.
Job Description:
We are looking for a candidate to join our team and play a crucial role in providing exceptional eye care in a fast-paced environment. As part of the optical team, you will help patients with their eyewear selection and vision needs, ensuring they receive the best customer service and products available. We offer a full-service contact lens product line as well, to serve all aspects of the visual needs of our patients. Responsibilities:
-Assist patients to choose the right eyewear and lens options based on their prescription and style preference.
- Properly determine and dispense prescriptions written by our doctors.
- Take precise measurements for a proper fit of single vision, lined bifocal and progressive lens styles to include seg heights, PD and MRP.
- Adjustment and repair of eyewear.
- Promote and provide product recommendations, with your experience and knowledge.
-Work together as a team to assist and support all areas of the practice to ensure excellent patient care and customer service.
Skills:
- Strong customer service and communication skills are a must.
- Detail-oriented.
- Multitask and manage time well.
-Ability to transpose a patient prescription correctly.
- Lensometer and Pupilometer
- Contact lens product knowledge (NCLE or desire for certification) with skills to teach I&R and proper contact lens care.
- Optical software knowledge (practice utilizes Nextgen)

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
