Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive dance curricula tailored to various age groups and skill levels, incorporating elements of choreography, technique, and performance skills.
- Lead engaging dance classes that promote proper form, musicality, and artistic expression while maintaining a safe and inclusive environment.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and clear expectations, ensuring a productive learning atmosphere.
- Provide individualized feedback and mentorship to help students improve their technique, stage presence, and creative skills.
Qualifications
- Proven experience teaching dance to children with a strong understanding of dance instruction techniques.
- Experience working with children in educational or extracurricular settings, including classroom management skills.
- Familiarity with early childhood education principles and childhood development strategies is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively work with students, parents, and fellow instructors while fostering a supportive environment.
