JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Education Specialist degree in leadership.
Certification or Licensure: Holder of L-6 certificate in administration/supervision
Skills: Knowledge of Federal programs, technology, data analysis, and Microsoft Word is preferred. Working knowledge of current federal laws related to the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Candidate must possess knowledge of effective reading and mathematics instructional practices based on scientific research. Excellent human relationship, oral, and communication skills are required
Work Experience: Must have completed a minimum of five years of successful teaching and/or administrative experience.
PRIMARY DUTY:
This position is responsible for working with principals, teachers, and resource personnel to ensure the effective delivery of the Title 1, Title II, Title III, and Title IV grant programs and other grants awarded by the state to meet the demands of Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assists Program Director in administrative duties.
- Works directly with principals, teachers, and paraprofessionals to ensure the delivery of effective school-wide and target assistance instructional programs.
- Assists principals and the Director of Federal Programs with the implementation of the Federal grants’ requirements.
- Visits assigned schools on a regular basis to meet with the principals, Instructional specialists and also observe instruction.
- Assists Instructional Specialists to support instructional activities in schools.
- Assists in the compilation of schedules, reports, and forms relative to Federal grant regulations.
- Keeps abreast of research-driven effective math and reading instructional practices.
- Assists with data analysis and utilizes reports for instructional services.
- Plans, designs, writes, and disseminates instructional information.
- Attends staff meetings and other related educational activities.
- Assists with the orientation of personnel, who work with students.
- Assists in preparing Federal grants and school improvement budgets.
- Assists the Director in monitoring the progress of schools on Georgia’s College and Career Ready Performance Index.
- The employee shall carry out such other and further duties, whether specifically listed above or not, as are assigned or required by such employee’s supervisor, other appropriate school personnel, law board policy administrative regulation, department handbook, and allowable under Title I, Part A guidelines as are reasonably necessary to the efficient operation of the school system and its mission.

Salary : $83,780 - $123,923
