Do you enjoy meeting people, love the game of golf, and have a talent for making others feel welcome? Richmond Country Club is looking for a Golf Shop Attendant to join our team and help deliver an exceptional experience for our members and guests.
This is much more than a retail position. You'll be one of the first faces our members see when they arrive and one of the last they see before heading home. A positive attitude, excellent customer service, and confidence in helping members find the right merchandise are essential.
What You'll Do
- Welcome members and guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
- Assist with tee times, check in golfers, and answer questions about club events and services.
- Sell golf merchandise, apparel, and equipment while providing knowledgeable recommendations.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process purchases and charges.
- Keep the Golf Shop clean, organized, and well merchandised.
- Assist with tournament operations and daily golf shop activities.
- Work closely with the Professional Staff to provide an outstanding member experience.
We're Looking for Someone Who
- Has outstanding people skills and genuinely enjoys serving others.
- Is comfortable starting conversations and building relationships with members.
- Enjoys retail sales and has the ability to confidently recommend merchandise.
- Has strong communication and organizational skills.
- Can multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Is dependable and available to work afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Golf knowledge is a plus—but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are even more important.
