About the Position: We are seeking a passionate and energetic Physical Education Teacher to join our team immediately. This role is ideal for an educator who is excited to build a strong, engaging PE program and create a structured, joyful environment where all students can thrive. The PE Teacher will serve students in grades TK–8 and is supported by a full-time Instructional Aide. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned PE lessons for TK–8 students Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship Establish clear routines, expectations, and behavior systems Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Collaborate with staff and leadership to support student growth Qualifications: Valid California Teaching Credential (or eligibility) Experience working with elementary and/or middle school students preferred Strong classroom management and organizational skills Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff Bilingual (Spanish) preferred but not required Compensation & Benefits: Competitive salary: $61,000 – $100,000 based on experience Health benefits (medical, dental, and vision) Participation in CalSTRS retirement system Full-time Instructional Aide support Supportive leadership and collaborative team environment Why Join Us: This is an opportunity to build a PE program that students love while being part of a school community that values joy, structure, and strong relationships.
