Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator & Executive Support to the CEO is a dual-role position responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations while providing high-level administrative and strategic support to the CEO. This role is critical to ensuring a positive employee experience, maintaining compliance, and supporting organizational effectiveness across the school. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, maintains strict confidentiality, and thrives in a fast-paced educational environment. Key Responsibilities: Human Resources (Primary Function) Coordinate recruitment, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding Ensure all employees meet credentialing, fingerprinting (Livescan), TB, and compliance requirements Maintain accurate and confidential employee records (personnel files, contracts, evaluations, benefits) Support benefits administration, including enrollment, changes, and employee inquiries Track and monitor employee attendance, leave balances (PTO, sick leave, FMLA), and ensure proper documentation Assist with employee relations matters, including investigations, documentation, and follow-up Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and education codes Support performance evaluation processes and maintain tracking systems Coordinate professional development logistics and staff trainings Prepare HR reports and data summaries for leadership and Board reporting Executive Support to the CEO Manage CEO’s calendar, scheduling meetings, and prioritizing appointments Prepare agendas, materials, and presentations for meetings and leadership sessions Draft and edit professional communications, including letters, memos, and reports Serve as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders Support special projects and initiatives led by the CEO (e.g., strategic planning, LCAP, board presentation
