Richman Property Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Are you a community-inspired, passion-driven individual with a can-do attitude? If so, we want you on our team!

🧑‍🔧 Position: Maintenance Technician 

📍 Location: Lenox at Bloomingdale, our 240-unit luxury residential community in Riverview, FL 33578 (U.S. 301 and Bloomingdale Ave)

• 🗓️ Daytime schedule, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (weekend on-call rotation required)

🔎 What We're Looking For:

• 2 years of apartment maintenance experience


• EPA I & II required — don't have it yet? RPS will sponsor your certification within your first 75 days on the job!


• Maintenance professionals with a passion for resident service and an eye for curb appeal


• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred

📋 Responsibilities:

• Perform daily repair and upkeep of the property


• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within established deadlines


• Manage service requests and ensure timely completion


• Maintain compliance with OSHA standards and The Clean Air Act


• Oversee inventory and care of tools and equipment


• Complete required tasks such as training, logs, and reports in a timely manner


• Uphold company policies and provide exceptional customer service


• Seek educational opportunities for personal growth and development


• Assist in the property's preventative maintenance plan


• Collaborate on maintaining curb appeal and cleanliness of buildings and grounds


• Perform on-call duties and occasional overtime

🎓 Requirements:

Education:

• High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred

Experience:

• Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance and general repair experience, or Groundskeeper experience


• Proficiency in maintenance tasks including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.


• Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws


• Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws


• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

Skills & Certifications:

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license strongly preferred


• Valid Driver's License required


• Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
