What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Superintendent position at Richbuilt Construction?
Lead a major multifamily and retail development. Enjoy free health insurance and completion bonuses.
At Rich Properties, we believe exceptional communities start with exceptional construction. We’re developing a new 264-unit multifamily community with four-story buildings and an adjacent 20,000 sq. ft. retail center in Port St. Lucie, Florida, and we’re looking for a skilled, hands-on leader to see it through from the ground up.
We’re seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent or Project Manager who thrives on-site, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining timelines, managing budgets, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a 3 year project, and we’re looking for someone who’s committed to seeing it through to completion.
This is an outstanding opportunity to work directly with a well-established Owner/Developer company based on Florida’s Treasure Coast — not a third-party contractor.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily field operations for all phases of multifamily and retail construction.
- Manage subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and quality control to ensure on-time, on-budget completion.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and ownership to resolve design or field challenges quickly and effectively.
- Monitor progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
- Enforce site safety standards and compliance with local codes and regulations.
- Lead with professionalism and teamwork ensuring the site reflects the standards of excellence our company is known for.
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience in construction management or supervision, with a strong background in multifamily, multistory, and masonry/hollowcore construction.
- Ground-up construction experience required.
- Builder’s or General Contractor’s License is a strong plus, but not required.
- Proven ability to manage schedules, budgets, and trades efficiently.
- Strong understanding of construction documents, permitting, and local building codes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to coordinate multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with standard construction software, Microsoft Office, and project documentation tools. General computer skills are a must!
