What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Intern position at Richardson?
Description
Richardson's Brand Marketing Intern is an embedded member of the Brand Marketing & Design team, contributing real work to Richardson's social media presence and brand marketing efforts from day one.
This isn't a coffee-fetching internship. You'll work directly alongside Richardson's Marketing Specialist on social media content creation: shooting, editing, writing, and publishing content that reaches real audiences across real platforms. You'll also contribute to broader brand marketing efforts, giving you hands-on exposure to how a professional marketing team plans, produces, and executes campaigns.
If you're a current college student who creates content, thinks in captions, and wants to see what brand marketing looks like from the inside, this is the role for you.
Who We’re Looking For
You're a current undergraduate student with a genuine interest in brand marketing, social media, and content creation. You're creative, curious, and self-motivated, as well as someone who pays attention to how brands show up online and has ideas about how to make them better. You're organized, know how to meet a deadline, collaborative, and eager to bring your own perspective to the work.
You don't need to have it all figured out. You need to be ready to learn, willing to contribute, and excited about the opportunity to do real work for a real brand.
Who You’ll Work With
This role reports to Richardson's Marketing Director, with day-to-day direction provided by the Marketing Specialist. You'll work closely with the Marketing Specialist on social media content creation and will have opportunities to collaborate with the broader Brand Marketing & Design team on brand marketing initiatives throughout your internship.
What You’ll Learn
Social Media Content Creation
Employment is contingent upon successfully passing a background check and drug screen that tests for cocaine metabolites and amphetamines only.
We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local laws.
