Financial Analyst – Real Estate
Locations: Manhattan, Tampa, or Chicago (hybrid schedule; 2–3 days in office for Manhattan)
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support retail and non-retail clients in optimizing national real estate portfolios. This high-impact role blends financial analysis, project management, and client interaction, helping major brands restructure portfolios, support asset transactions, and provide insights for lease renewals, relocations, and M&A activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis & Reporting:
- Build and maintain financial models for portfolio segmentation, forecasting, and resource planning.
- Validate and analyze real estate data for client presentations and reporting.
- Manage deal submission flows, legal document tracking, and internal workflow.
Project Coordination & Client Support:
- Support 2–6 projects simultaneously, coordinating timelines across internal and external teams.
- Collaborate daily with Project Managers, analysts, and negotiators across markets.
- Regularly participate in client Real Estate Committee meetings (~60% of projects).
Tools & Processes:
- Utilize Excel and Salesforce to manage data and reporting.
- Ensure accuracy of tenant, market, and property information for portfolio analysis.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 3–5 years of experience in real estate or portfolio analysis.
- Exceptional Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
- Strong communicator with professional presence; thrives under a fast-paced workload.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and comfortable with client-facing responsibilities.
