We are currently partnering with a growing organization seeking a talented BI Developer to join their team onsite in Arlington, VA. This role will focus on designing and developing reporting, dashboards, financial models, and analytics solutions that support business operations, planning, and decision-making working with the Data Engineers.
Responsibilities:
• Drive development of secure frameworks for data, dashboards, reports, and custom applications
• Design, build, and maintain financial models, hierarchies, and complex reporting solutions
• Develop dashboards, workflows, and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI
• Participate in stakeholder workshops to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Support governance, testing, documentation, training, and data quality initiatives
• Maintain and enhance existing dashboards and reporting environments
• Utilize Jira for project and task tracking
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Business, or related field
• 5 years of experience in Business Intelligence development and data analytics
• Strong experience with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and Power Automate
• Experience with cloud-based data storage and Azure Data Lake ingestion
• Strong understanding of star-schema and snowflake data modeling
• Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL
• Advanced Excel skills including VBA, pivot tables, Power Query, and advanced formulas
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical documentation skills
