We invite everyday retail investors to earn passive income by backing franchises developed by top comic book creators, music artists, and YouTubers for 5G internet worldwide distribution.We are redefining how entertainment franchises are developed and funded through our "New Tech Hollywood" Creator Program, offering independent creators a path to develop their intellectual property and raise capital.The OpportunityWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Student Outreach Coordinator to connect with the next generation of creative talent in the Bay Area. In this crucial role, you will be the bridge between Rice Rocket and local arts/media students, introducing them to our Creator Program as a viable, alternative path to traditional Hollywood. This is a part-time independent contractor role with the potential to transition into full-time employment based on performance.Key ResponsibilitiesCommunity Engagement: Act as a Rice Rocket Ambassador, establishing and nurturing relationships with Bay Area arts, film, design, and media schools (e.g., Academy of Art, CCA, etc.).Program Introduction: Strategically introduce the "New Tech Hollywood" Creator Program to students and relevant faculty as an innovative platform for creative talent to develop and fund their franchises.Event Coordination: Plan, promote, and coordinate engaging online (and potentially in-person) events, workshops, and informational sessions connecting students with the Rice Rocket team and our successful creators.Creator Pipeline Development: Drive student participation and applications for the Creator Program, building a strong pipeline of future creators.Professional Development: Represent Rice Rocket at educational events, fostering professional growth opportunities for both yourself and the student community.Qualifications & ExperienceRequired: Proven experience working with or engaging the student body/administration at Bay Area arts, film, design, or media schools.Mindset: Possesses a consistently positive, proactive attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow as you take on new challenges.Communication: Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Preferred: Knowledge or strong interest in the digital media entertainment landscape, including independent film, video games, comic books, and collectible merchandise.
