What are the responsibilities and job description for the 4K Aide position at Rice Lake Area School District?
The 4K Aide (7:30am - 12:30pm) will perform a variety of tasks to support students in the Extended Day 4K while working closely with 4K teachers. This position will supervise and monitor the safety of students and lead activities to support academic and social emotional growth. This will include supporting health and personal habits such as eating, playing, and resting. The Aide will assist students during meals and snacks, assist with toileting, and supervise activities both indoors and outdoors. Aides will help develop schedules and routines, watch for signs of emotional or developmental problems in students and bring the problems to the attention of teacher and parents, and keep records of student’s progress, routines, and interests. This is 5 days/week (7:30a – 3:30p) during school days.
Associates Degree required or DPI Paraprofessional requirements met. Certification in first aid and CPR required. Must be maintained by obtaining recertification as necessary.
