What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Washer position at Riccelli-Northern?
Job Duties:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Wash and clean dump trucks, tractor trailers, and other commercial vehicles using pressure washers and cleaning equipment.
- Remove dirt, grease, and road debris from vehicle exteriors and undercarriages.
- Clean interiors of trucks as needed (cab wipe-down, debris removal, etc.)
- Apply cleaning solutions, degreasers, and protective coatings when required.
- Safely operate power washing and cleaning equipment.
- Perform routine inspections to identify damage or maintenance needs and report issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the wash bay and work area.
- Assist with additional yard or fleet support duties as needed (fueling, moving vehicles, work in the shop, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in vehicle washing, detailing, or general labor preferred (but not required)
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Ability to work independently as a part of a team.
