Riccelli-Northern is a leading provider of construction materials and services across Upstate New York, and is proudly built on decades of reliability, integrity, and hard work. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Excavator Operator to join our team at our active gravel mining operation in Fulton, NY. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in excavation work, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
Operate excavators to dig, load trucks, and move material within the gravel pit;
Maintain safe working practices and follow mine site procedures;
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical concerns;
Assist with site maintenance and support other mining activities;
Work alongside loaders, haul trucks, and scale operations to maintain production flow.
Qualifications
HS Diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 2 years of excavator operating experience (gravel pit or quarry experience preferred)
Must have valid NYS Driver's license.
Ability to operate safely around other equipment and personnel.
Strong work ethic and dependability.
Mechanical aptitude is a plus
Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Work Hours are 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM.
