We are seeking an experienced World Languages Content Manager / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support statewide World Languages initiatives through content leadership, curriculum development, instructional resource evaluation, and educator training.
πΌ Key Responsibilities:
β Lead World Languages projects and initiatives as a subject matter expert
β Develop and maintain instructional materials evaluation rubrics
β Review instructional resources for quality, standards alignment, and usability
β Develop and manage advisory panel selection and application processes
β Create training materials and facilitate advisory panel training
β Support implementation of World Languages standards and instructional shifts
β Develop instructional focus documents, guidance materials, and presentations
β Design and deliver professional learning sessions and workshops
β Collaborate with educators, district leaders, department staff, and stakeholders
β Manage project timelines, deliverables, reports, and communications
β Required Qualifications:
βοΈ Bachelor's degree in World Languages, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Linguistics, or related field
βοΈ Expertise in World Languages instruction, curriculum, assessment, and standards
βοΈ Experience developing instructional resources and professional learning materials
βοΈ Experience facilitating educator trainings, meetings, or presentations
βοΈ Strong project management and organizational skills
βοΈ Excellent written and verbal communication
βοΈ Ability to work independently and with diverse stakeholder groups
β Preferred Qualifications:
β Advanced degree in a related field
β State-level, district-level, or large-scale education initiative experience
β Experience developing evaluation rubrics or review processes
β Knowledge of current World Languages teaching and learning practices
β Advisory group, committee, or educator work-group experience
