We are seeking an experienced World Languages Content Manager / Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support statewide World Languages initiatives through content leadership, curriculum development, instructional resource evaluation, and educator training.
💼 Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead World Languages projects and initiatives as a subject matter expert
✅ Develop and maintain instructional materials evaluation rubrics
✅ Review instructional resources for quality, standards alignment, and usability
✅ Develop and manage advisory panel selection and application processes
✅ Create training materials and facilitate advisory panel training
✅ Support implementation of World Languages standards and instructional shifts
✅ Develop instructional focus documents, guidance materials, and presentations
✅ Design and deliver professional learning sessions and workshops
✅ Collaborate with educators, district leaders, department staff, and stakeholders
✅ Manage project timelines, deliverables, reports, and communications
✅ Required Qualifications:
✔️ Bachelor's degree in World Languages, Education, Curriculum & Instruction, Linguistics, or related field
✔️ Expertise in World Languages instruction, curriculum, assessment, and standards
✔️ Experience developing instructional resources and professional learning materials
✔️ Experience facilitating educator trainings, meetings, or presentations
✔️ Strong project management and organizational skills
✔️ Excellent written and verbal communication
✔️ Ability to work independently and with diverse stakeholder groups
⭐ Preferred Qualifications:
➕ Advanced degree in a related field
➕ State-level, district-level, or large-scale education initiative experience
➕ Experience developing evaluation rubrics or review processes
➕ Knowledge of current World Languages teaching and learning practices
