Cashier/Customer Service/server

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Cashier/Customer Service Server to join our dynamic team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, handling transactions accurately, and ensuring a positive dining or shopping experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, retail, or grocery environments, with strong skills in POS systems, food handling, and customer engagement. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced setting where teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and payment handling
• Take food and beverage orders, assist with food preparation when necessary, and ensure timely delivery
• Upsell menu items or products to enhance customer satisfaction and sales
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in food service areas, including bussing tables and cleaning workstations
• Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling and serving
• Assist with food preparation tasks as needed in the kitchen or café environment
• Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple responsibilities efficiently
• Uphold excellent customer service standards to promote repeat business

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service, quick service & fast-food restaurant, café, retail store, or grocery store preferred
• Knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions
• Food safety certification or knowledge of sanitation practices is desirable
• Ability to manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Culinary experience or food industry background is advantageous but not mandatory
• Customer service orientation with a positive attitude and professionalism
• Flexibility to work during peak hours including weekends and holidays if needed

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
