Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Prepare and serve food items according to established standards and safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, including bussing tables and food handling stations
- Assist with food preparation, packaging, and presentation as needed
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks efficiently
- Restock supplies and ensure the front of house area remains organized and inviting
Requirements
- Prior experience in food service, quick service, or fast-food restaurant environments preferred but not required
- Knowledge of POS systems such as clover POS is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations for retail math or grocery store operations
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
- Familiarity with food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or retail math is desirable
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends or holidays if needed
