- Greet guests with genuine enthusiasm, making them feel excited about their visit
- Manage reservations efficiently, ensuring smooth seating flow
- Coordinate with the restaurant team to optimize table assignments and reduce wait times
- Maintain a clean and organized host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
- Ensure a tidy seating area for optimal guest experience
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, assisting with reservation requests and takeout orders
- Assist servers and other team members to ensure a positive experience for every customer
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Ability to work as a team to provide guests with the best experience
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast is preferred but not required
- Previous experience in customer service environments is a plus
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and guest service standards
- Ability to handle phone etiquette gracefully
- Managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
