Crane Operator - CDL Class A (Union)

Rhodes Crane & Rigging is seeking experienced operators ready to build a long-term career in the beautiful Spokane, Washington area. This is a premier dual-role position for professionals with high-level expertise in both crane operating and commercial driving. We are looking for dedicated individuals ready to relocate and join our family-owned union shop, operating an elite fleet ranging from 3.2 to 550 tons.

Requirements:

• Experience: 3 years of professional experience as a Crane Operator.
• Experience: 3 years of experience as a CDL Class A Driver.
• Must hold a valid Crane Operator Certification (NCCCO or equivalent).
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a good MVR.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA crane standards and load chart calculations.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a variety of cranes ranging from 3.2 to 550 tons.
• Drive and transport heavy equipment to and from job sites following all DOT regulations.
• Perform daily pre-operational inspections and maintenance checks.
• Coordinate Contractors, Riggers and Signalpersons to ensure safe and efficient lifts.
• Calculate capacities and evaluate site conditions (ground stability, overhead hazards).
