We are looking for an experienced Crane Operator with a CDL Class A to join our team. This is a
dual-role position requiring high-level expertise in both crane operating and commercial
driving. You will be responsible for the safe transport, setup, and precision operation of cranes on
diverse job sites.
Requirements:
- Experience: 3 years of professional experience as a Crane Operator.
- Experience: 3 years of experience as a CDL Class A Driver.
- Must hold a valid Crane Operator Certification (NCCCO or equivalent).
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License with a good MVR.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA crane standards and load chart calculations.
- Must be proficient in English (verbal and written) to ensure safe radio communication, follow complex site instructions, and maintain accurate DOT logs.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of cranes ranging from 3.2 to 550 tons.
- Drive and transport heavy equipment to and from job sites following all DOT regulations.
- Perform daily pre-operational inspections and maintenance checks.
- Coordinate with riggers and signalpersons to ensure safe and efficient lifts.
- Calculate capacities and evaluate site conditions (ground stability, overhead hazards).
