Job Summary:
A Chemical Manufacturing Technician assists in the production of chemical products by operating equipment, following safety procedures, and ensuring quality standards are met. This role supports the manufacturing process by preparing materials, monitoring production, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor chemical manufacturing equipment
- Measure, mix, and prepare chemical materials according to instructions
- Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines
- Monitor production processes and report any issues
- Record production data and maintain accurate documentation
- Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
- Keep the work area clean and organized
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow written instructions and procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift and move materials up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or plant environment
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
