The Event Supervisor is responsible for the on-site supervision of Stagehand Crews; overseeing all employees on their shifts ensuring that company policies are followed, safety guidelines are established and met and tasks are completed up to Client standards to accomplish a successful event.
The person in this role will provide leadership in the field & client support as directed by the Director of Operations.
This is a full-time position requiring on-site presence (per event) and office hours, as needed. Hours will vary including nights, holidays & weekends as necessary to support our clients and/or scheduled events.

Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for Clients on each job-site, addressing their needs in a timely, professional manner.
- Serve as primary point of contact and leadership for all Rhino Field Employees, fostering a safe, productive, professional work environment; addressing questions & concerns in a timely manner.
- Accountable for keeping track of all Rhino Field Employee hours, including managing sign-in sheets and accurate completion & submission of timesheets by required deadline(s).
- Responsible for filling out reports for onsite incidents, accidents, and harassment.
- Turn safety logs, write-ups, incident/accident reports, and other relevant paperwork into appropriate departments promptly upon completion of each shift.
- Follow and enforce all Rhino policies and procedures consistently per the Rhino Employee Handbook.
- Attend Supervisor, Safety Supervisor and Staff meetings as necessary.
- Attend (and/or assist with) Training & Certification courses as directed.
- Assist with general office duties as directed.
Core Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Supervisory or Managerial role, (in the Entertainment Industry is a plus).
- Understanding of basic industry terms and field crew (ie Stagehand) positions.
- Professional appearance & demeanor
- Able to effectively communicate in English (verbally and in writing) with English-speaking co-workers, supervisors, clients and for safety reasons
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking and project management skills
- Reliable source of communication and transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication and skills
- Attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Ability to read, draft & interpret all necessary reports & correspondence
- Emotional intelligence to interact calmly & professionally across all levels of management with a diverse background of colleagues & clients.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, Gmail & Google apps (Sheets, Meetings, etc.)
- Proficiency in Salesforce and/or ProCrewz is a plus
- Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
- OSHA 10 / 30 is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs. on your own.
- Ability to consistently walk, stand, bend, stoop & twist
- Capable of sitting or standing for prolonged periods while using a computer or participating in meetings
- This position may be subject to varying levels of travel, at times as well as varying levels of noise, weather and smoke when on a job site.
This is a Full-Time, Exempt position.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The compensation information displayed on each job posting reflects the range for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills, experience and relevant education or training.
This position is not eligible for stocks and/or stock options.
