Responsibilities
- Perform troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance on commercial HVAC/R systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Service and repair food equipment such as ovens, grills, refrigeration units, dishwashers, and other kitchen appliances.
- Install new HVAC/R systems and food service equipment according to schematics and technical specifications.
- Conduct routine inspections using schematics and technical manuals to diagnose issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, repairs performed, parts used, and system conditions.
- Operate company vehicles safely while transporting tools, parts, and equipment to job sites.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring client satisfaction with all work performed.
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all maintenance and repair activities to ensure a safe working environment.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge and technical skills to troubleshoot complex systems efficiently.
- Assist with inventory management of parts and tools necessary for daily operations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a service technician specializing in HVAC/R systems or commercial kitchen equipment repair.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams.
- Hands-on experience with appliance repair, refrigeration systems, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems repair.
- Familiarity with maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices in commercial settings.
- Construction experience or background working on large-scale mechanical or HVAC projects is a plus.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Valid driver’s license with experience operating company vehicles safely in various environments.
- Leadership qualities that support teamwork and mentoring of junior technicians are desirable but not required.

Pay: $28.00 - $36.81 per hour
