AI Solutions Engineer

Position Overview
Revere Medical is seeking an AI Solutions Engineer to help the organization safely adopt and operationalize artificial intelligence. This role will focus on designing and delivering AI-powered solutions that automate workflows, surface insights from data, and enhance productivity across the organization.
The AI Solutions Engineer will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, and IT teams to build practical AI applications that integrate with existing enterprise systems and the organization’s data platform. This role will also help guide responsible AI usage by implementing guardrails that ensure solutions are developed and deployed in a secure, HIPAA-compliant manner.
The ideal candidate combines technical development skills, AI expertise, and business problem-solving ability, enabling the organization to harness AI to work smarter, improve operational efficiency, and unlock value from data.
Key Responsibilities
AI Solution Development
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered applications and tools that solve operational and business challenges.
- Build and give guidance on internal AI copilots, assistants, and automation tools to improve productivity and decision-making.
- Develop lightweight applications and integrations using technologies such as:
- Python
- Azure AI services, or other AI tooling that meets the needs of the targeted problem
- Databricks AI / ML
- Low-code platforms such as Microsoft Power Platform or other light weight application programming.
- Implement retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions that allow AI systems to safely access internal organizational data.
System Integration & Application Engineering
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise systems including EMRs, data platforms, APIs, and internal applications.
- Build automation pipelines that incorporate AI-driven document processing, data extraction, and workflow automation.
- Support the deployment, monitoring, and improvement of AI-enabled services.
Data Platform & AI Integration
- Work closely with the Data Engineering team to integrate AI capabilities with the organization’s enterprise data platform operating on Databricks.
- Develop workflows that leverage both structured and unstructured data to power AI applications.
- Implement solutions that allow AI tools to safely interact with data stored in enterprise systems such as data warehouses, document repositories, and operational systems.
AI Strategy & Organizational Enablement
- Help identify opportunities where AI can improve efficiency, reduce manual work, and enhance business processes.
- Collaborate with leadership and technology teams to support the development of the organization’s AI adoption roadmap.
- Assist teams across the organization in identifying practical AI use cases and implementing effective solutions.
Responsible AI & Compliance
- Implement guardrails and best practices to ensure AI solutions comply with HIPAA, data privacy requirements, and organizational security policies.
- Support evaluation of AI technologies and vendors to ensure they meet security and compliance standards.
- Ensure AI solutions are designed to protect sensitive information and minimize risks such as:
- unauthorized data exposure
- inappropriate use of protected information
- unreliable AI outputs
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience in software development, data engineering, AI development, or related technical roles.
- Strong programming skills in Python or similar languages.
- Experience building automation tools, APIs, or internal applications.
- Experience working with AI or machine learning technologies, including large language models.
- Ability to translate business problems into practical technical solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building LLM-based applications or AI copilots.
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI to solve specific business problems quickly.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with enterprise systems and data platforms.
- Knowledge of healthcare data environments and HIPAA compliance requirements.
- Experience with workflow automation platforms.
