BlackLine Admin and Support Analyst

RGP  is seeking a highly skilled and motivated BlackLine System Administrator & Process Optimization Consultant to join our team. This role is crucial for leveraging our BlackLine expertise to support our clients' strategic development, maintenance, and global optimization of their platforms. You will utilize your deep technical and functional knowledge to enhance the Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, maximize the return on investment of BlackLine solutions, and ensure best-in-class global governance and standardization across the platform for our client.

What you will work on

• System Administration & Maintenance: Perform ongoing BlackLine system administration, metadata maintenance, and diagnose/resolve production support issues.
• Global Implementation & Support: Actively support client's global implementation and phased roll-out of BlackLine platform solutions, often in a consultative capacity.
• Process Optimization & Automation: Continuously identify and drive the implementation of new BlackLine use cases and functionalities (e.g., automated journals, grouped reconciliations, legal entities, checklists) to optimize global close processes and maximize ROI for our clients.
• Governance & Standardization: Review and maintain ongoing governance around global BlackLine usage, including the standardization of process, reporting, policy, and utilization.
• Reporting & Analysis: Create and manage dynamic dashboards and other reporting related to close metrics. Prepare detailed analyses and support internal control testing.
• Documentation & Training: Develop and maintain high-quality documentation and comprehensive training materials for client teams
  
  
  

What you will bring

• BS degree in Finance or equivalent 
• BlackLine Expertise: 3-5 years of proven technical and functional expertise with core BlackLine solutions (e.g., Account Reconciliations, Transaction Matching, Journal Creation, Task Management, Variance Analysis, Intercompany Hub, Financial Reporting Analytics, Studio 360).
• System Implementation: Experience supporting a global BlackLine implementation and/or performing system administration for a large, multi-national company.
• R2R/ERP Knowledge: 1-2 years of experience with SAP and end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes.
• Technical Acumen: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• System Integration: Knowledgeable in system integrations between ERPs (specifically SAP), BlackLine, and downstream tools.
