Project Manager- Capital Expenditures

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee and coordinate projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in manufacturing project scheduling, and effective communication skills. This role requires a proactive approach to managing project timelines, resources, and stakeholder expectations while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
• Project manager over capital projects.
• Responsibility will be to work with teams to identify capital equipment to be purchases release or PO to acquire the equipment
• Tracking of equipment while on order
• working with teams to prepare areas for the equipment, organization of install through release to run with operations. Should have 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience, exposure to lean six sigma/continuous improvement. Must be able to manage multiple projects across an array of timelines

Experience

• Proven experience in project management within the manufacturing industry is essential.
• Familiarity with construction estimating techniques and tools is highly desirable.
• Should have 3 to 5 years demonstrated experience, exposure to lean six sigma/continuous improvement.
• Must be able to manage multiple projects across an array of timelines
• Strong understanding of project scheduling methodologies and practices.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with contracts negotiation and management is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately is required.
• Previous experience working on construction sites is beneficial for understanding practical challenges faced during projects.
