Produce Lead → Production Supervisor

Role Overview: This position leads daily department operations in a retail store, especially in the absence of the manager, ensuring staff training, staffing, and achievement of company standards and goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory accuracy, including ordering, receiving, and proper storage of products to ensure freshness and quality.
• Supervise team activities such as stocking, production, and handling spoiled or damaged items according to guidelines.
• Understand product details, sales promotions, and store programs to support sales and customer service.
• Support communication and execution of weekly plans, manage scheduling, labor, and payroll within company policies.
• Assist in staffing, training, performance management, and development of store associates.
• Participate in meetings, ensure a clean and well-stocked department, and implement strategies to meet performance targets.
• Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience standards, with flexibility to support other departments if needed.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, decision-making, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; suggestive selling is a plus.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; bilingual skills may be desirable based on location.
  
  

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in varied retail environments.
