Key Responsibilities
- Conducts retention and new business development calls with existing and potential clients.
- Develops new customer prospects, maintains prospect lists, and manages the sales pipeline.
- Interviews applicants, completes documentation, and recommends appropriate loan products.
- Prepares and submits loan packages for underwriting and approval, ensuring accuracy of loan documents.
- Coordinates loan closings and identifies opportunities to cross-sell additional bank products and services.
- Builds and maintains a targeted portfolio of high-value small business clients, setting regional strategies.
- Acts as a financial advisor, educating clients on financial planning, investments, insurance, and credit options.
- Monitors customer information, financial plans, and market trends to identify new needs and opportunities.
- Collaborates with other departments to fulfill cross-sell opportunities and close deals effectively.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree with 5-8 years of experience or equivalent.
- Knowledge of cash flow and business credit underwriting; commercial credit training preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Business acumen with understanding of various industries and financial concepts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
