Job Summary
The Patient Coordinator will greet patients, register them into the system, collect money, and perform other clerical duties. The ideal candidate will have a medical background.

Essential Functions of a Patient Coordinator
- Register patients at the front desk.
- Answer incoming calls and make outgoing calls to complete appointment scheduling, cancellation, and confirmation requests.
- Provide the first available appointment by matching patient preferences with specific scheduling guidelines.
- Collect and coordinate accurate basic registration, demographic, and insurance information.
- Process multi-channel messages related to patient and physician requests.
- Functions as a team member to organize and prioritize responsibilities to complete daily work assignments.
Education and Experience
- High School degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of prior medical coordination or similar experience preferred.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
- Full Time
- Hours may vary from 9am to 5/5:30pm and 9:30am to 6pm.
- Light travel to our Poughkeepsie office
- Flexible schedule
Salary : $17 - $20
