Position Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position plays a key role in minimizing downtime while supporting a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Repair and replace defective components to minimize production downtime.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and building systems.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
- Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and facility improvement projects.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
- Collaborate with production and management teams to ensure efficient operations.
Work Schedule
- 3rd shift
- Full time position
- Sunday-Thursday with occasional weekends
- 8-hour shifts
- On call rotation for weekends
- Overtime as needed

Qualifications

- Experience with PLCs, conveyors, motors, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems is a plus.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
- Must be dependable, self-motivated, and safety conscious.
