Maintenance Manager

Job Summary

This role requires flexibility to work any shift including nights and weekends. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead and oversee the maintenance operations within our facility. In this vital role, you will manage a team of maintenance technicians, ensure the reliable operation of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial systems, and uphold safety and quality standards. Your leadership will drive efficiency, reduce downtime, and maintain a safe working environment by implementing proactive maintenance strategies and managing facilities maintenance teams effectively. Duties

• Identifies, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment and system malfunctions personally or through the use of maintenance staff.
• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across all mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and industrial systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage maintenance repair procedures, including troubleshooting engineering issues with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Lead facilities maintenance management initiatives by planning preventive maintenance schedules using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Oversee the repair and servicing of HVAC systems, electrical systems—including low voltage wiring—and plumbing systems to ensure compliance with safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
• Train and supervise facilities maintenance teams on safety regulations, maintenance procedures, and proper use of tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting.
• Develop and manage projects related to facilities upgrades or repairs while ensuring adherence to safety regulations and project timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections using schematics and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify potential issues before they escalate.
• Enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations; maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incident reports, and maintenance logs.
• Collaborate with management on facilities management strategies to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.

Skills

• Proven management experience supervising facilities or industrial maintenance teams with strong leadership capabilities.
• Extensive mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in mechanical systems repair and industrial maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in managing programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems—including low voltage wiring—and HVAC system repair.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to plan, execute, and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with CMMS software for scheduling maintenance tasks and tracking work orders effectively.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations such as OSHA standards; ability to implement safety protocols across teams.
• Skilled in reading schematics, technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and using diagnostic tools like voltmeters and ohmmeters for troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Effective communication skills in English for clear reporting, team coordination, and training purposes.
• Knowledge of plumbing system maintenance and repair techniques; ability to diagnose plumbing issues accurately.
• Mechanical systems repair expertise combined with engineering troubleshooting skills for complex equipment issues.

3 years of relevant professional experience plus a Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Management, or a related field.
