Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement robotics software using ROS/ROS2, C , and Python
- Build perception and state-estimation pipelines using sensor fusion (IMU, LiDAR, cameras, wheel odometry)
- Implement or integrate SLAM, localization, and navigation stacks
- Develop motion planning and control modules (trajectory generation, MPC/PID tuning where applicable)
- Create simulation scenarios and regression tests in Gazebo (or similar) and validate behavior in sim and on hardware
- Instrument logs/telemetry, root-cause failures, and improve reliability and uptime
- Collaborate with hardware/embedded teams on drivers, timing, and compute constraints
- Document interfaces, runbooks, and testing procedures to support deployment and operations
- Mid-Senior experience building production robotics systems
- Strong C and Python skills
- Hands-on experience with ROS/ROS2 architecture, TF frames, launch systems, and debugging
- Familiarity with navigation, SLAM/localization, and control fundamentals
- Experience with Linux and performance profiling; ability to write testable code and reproducible experiments
- Computer vision for robotics (calibration, feature tracking, visual odometry)
- LiDAR/point cloud processing and mapping
- Real-time systems and embedded constraints; field deployment, fleet operations, and OTA updates
- Safety standards, hazard analysis, and validation workflows
