This role is critical in supporting field operations by assembling electrical components and systems in our off-site shop. Rex Moore pays hourly/salary rates commensurate with each employee’s knowledge, experience and skill level.
Work environment:
Regularly exposed inclement weather: cold, heat, and humidity. The noise level in the work environment can be loud. Frequently exposed to vibrations, moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, machines, dust and chemicals

- Assemble electrical components, conduit systems, wiring harnesses, junction boxes, panels, and other prefab materials according to shop drawings, schematics, or work orders.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices to complete assemblies accurately.
- Perform quality checks to ensure completed assemblies meet specifications and company standards.
- Package, label, and organize finished products for delivery to job sites.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment following company safety protocols.
- Assist with inventory control by tracking materials used and reporting shortages.
- Work closely with supervisors and electricians to ensure timely and accurate production.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- At least 1 year experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly preferred.
- Ability to follow written & verbal instructions.
- Possess good vision normal and corrected.
- Familiar with the safe use of power and hand tools.
- Ability to read a tape measure and other tools used for measuring. High school diploma a plus but not required.
- Ability to verbally communicate: convey detailed and accurate instructions and information.
- Ability to hear with or without correction in order to receive and interpret detailed information.
- Must be able to lift, push, pull at least 50 lbs.
- Must be able to lift 29lbs. repeatedly.
- Must be able to lift more than 50 lbs. assisted.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Must be able to walk long distances.
- Must be able to reach and grasp materials, tools and equipment.
- Required to have visual acuity to operate various tools, read fine print, and identify colors.
